Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to the website of Florida Gate Guys ("we", "us").

Information you send us

When you use the quote request form, the Design Your Gate configurator or the contact form, we receive the details you enter and the gate options you select, such as your name, phone number, email address, project location, the service you are interested in, your project description and any other notes. If you attach photos to a quote request or gate design, we receive those images too.

Please do not include gate codes, alarm codes, passwords or other security credentials in any form.

How your information is used

We use the information you send only to respond to your request, discuss your project, and keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not sell your information and do not use it for unrelated marketing.

How form submissions are delivered

Form submissions are processed by our website, which runs on WordPress, and are sent to our business email inbox. A copy of the text of each request (without photos) is also kept in the website's private administration area, so a request is not lost if email delivery fails. Photos you attach are resized in your browser and sent only as email attachments with your request; they are not saved on the website or published anywhere on it. Messages and request records are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and our business records, and you can ask us to delete them.

Abuse prevention

To limit abuse, a one-way hashed form of your IP address may be stored for up to one hour to count recent submissions. It is not used for any other purpose.

Website hosting and technical data

Like most websites, our host may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to operate the service. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites, such as our web developer's page. Those websites have their own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your messages by calling (863) 651-2979 or emailing floridagateguys@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
